The food they eat is extremely important for our ability to develop, maintain function and prevent disease. Therefore, if you value your health, you should learn as much about
healthy eating as possible.
A healthy diet is important from the day we were born. As a child, we grow very quickly and this is partly due to the food we eat. All foods contain nutrients that provide us not only with fuel to live our daily lives, but with the same substances that build bones, our muscles, tissues and organs. Not enough of a nutrient or another can cause various problems, including stunting our growth. For mothers, the diet is important because breast milk contains the nutrients a child needs to grow and develop properly. In an increasingly older, these nutrients are then found in food, but I do not think that a healthy diet is important for development after the transition to adolescence. The cells are still down and rebuild to
healthy eating for growth continues to be important until the day I die.
